I'm planning to write this topic in three or four articles, depending on their styles.
The first part of it will be the sportswear.

From the beginning, Nike designers were inspired by the signature fabrics and
selected classic Liberty prints to combine with their Dunk Hi. (高筒布鞋)
But I am not sure did they actually work together on this collection or
just Nike used the fabrics to produce their products?

Whatever they had done in that time, they have worked together over 6 years until now~
Let's see what happened during these years.




NIKE and Liberty have come together over 10 collections from 2008,
which you can see in the picture above.
It's easy to find out these prints are for women,
but Nike did have some dark patterns which were masculine rather than floral patterns.
However, I'm pretty sure the main purpose of the collaborations is to appeal more young(or not?) women who are interested in colourful patterns and get bored with these sporty, heavy shoes.

I truly feel that if I have found these amazing trainers, I would definitely rush to the shop
and get one pair for myself. :P
There might be some people think that "I like the patterns but I don't like the style of the shoes".
It's fine, because they usually have two or more collections per year, 
and there will be a bit different between each collection.
So customers can see various styles of Nike, they will finally get your money...LOL 

If you're not into any Nike's shoes, it's still fine~

2. Trainerspotter / Le Coq Sportif (俗稱公雞牌) / The North Face / Vans
(不是我偏心給NIKE專屬自己一張，純粹只是它的東西太多...:P)
 I think there are not so many people know "Trainerspotter" this brand,

Trainerspotter has used the floral Liberty print fabrics to create sportswear in 2003.
In 2010, they reinterpreted the classic Windjammer jacket,
(8 pieces for each colour, and there were only three colours)
It's a really limited edition!

I personally think the patterns of the jackets were not for men...
even though they chose the models who looked manly, but still a bit wired with that jackets... = ="
Despite some customers couldn't accept this kind of trend, the products still sold out very soon.
(as its small number of items... )
我真的認為這個彩色小花花 即使是180cm男子漢穿也不一定能合理化，
就像畫面上那兩位黑白先生，放大看有多麼...微妙！按這裡看大圖
好家在(!?)這個系列一個色只出了八件，不然滯銷就糗了...

The North Face also joined the trend with its down jacket in Autumn 2012 and
mountain parka, packing case in Spring/Summer 2013.
It seemed to be smarter since it has chosen a black-and-white theme in the second collection with Liberty, and forgoing the vibrant palette which often associated with the print.
這個牌大家就熟悉一點了吧！
專賣登山或戶外活動的衣服，沒想到也想娘一下 趕個流行
其實他們只要乖乖target女性顧客就好，不知道為什麼硬要出男款!?
我在一些外國網站看到Liberty和一些男性服飾品牌出的商品
超多評論是 “這什麼XX(消音)" 或 ”誰要買這我家阿嬤的衣服“...
但後來他家到第二年的系列 就學乖出低調的黑白色系，評論也變好一點！

Vans started collaborated with Liberty from 2013's summer.
As you see, not every pattern is floral but they basically look "quite busy".
In fact, these collections are more for female customers.
The only pair of shoes I would like to buy that is in the centre of the picture.(Sk8-Hi)
這也是大家耳熟能詳的運動品牌，是近年才開始和Liberty合作
但老實說這家的帆布鞋款 真的不是我的菜...
我不知道從哪時開始只愛高筒帆布鞋，這種一般款我怎麼看都覺得"ㄙㄨㄥˊ ㄙㄨㄥˊ”（不分品牌）
所以這些合作款裡 我只能接受圖片中間那雙高筒的～

Le Coq Sportif (公雞牌) is a new brand which has joined this venture in this year.
It selected the patterns which mixed flowers and paisley, but I still feel it's for women.
However, this new collaboration doesn't amaze me.
I don't feel any surprise at all, because the style of these sporty shoes is too similar.
I prefer Nike's (I'm not its fan), but its style and prints are more interesting.

有點不懂Liberty為什麼一股腦和這麼多運動鞋合作
有可能是運動時尚風近年一直很紅，它想要拉近年輕族群和這個百年歷史的百貨公司
但顯然不是每個合作都那麼成功(？)有些款式和花色並非客人都買單
而且以現在年輕人喜新厭舊的速度，這些長得那麼相似運動鞋已經沒什麼吸引人了吧？
像我看了這麼多Nike的款後，對公雞牌的款一點feel有沒～（挖鼻ㄕˇ）
如果Nike有在出什麼驚人之作 我可能會再考慮一下
不過他們去年的合作款 真是....只有照片拍得有feel，東西很普通～哈哈
